SPRING PRODUCTION 2023 - REGISTRATION IS OPEN

Little-Shop-Logo-on-Green.jpg

STUDENTS WITH ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE ARE WELCOME IN OUR PROGRAM!

We do consider prior experience when casting your role, but what's even better is your enthusiasm, directability and a fierce work ethic!

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS is rated PG-13.

It has dark themes and is not for very sensitive viewers. Parents should absolutely do some research before enrolling. It's a personal decision that each family will make for themselves, but we want you to make an informed decision. While the show contains some moments with mature/scary content, it is primarily a comedic spoof of 60s/70s pulp-horror movies. It's campy noir, not meant to be taken seriously, and we will do our best to make it as age appropriate as possible, and downplay themes of violence, etc.

The charmingly tongue-in-cheek comedy LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS is one of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows! This Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years!

Meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" - after his coworker crush. This rude, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn - as long as he keeps feeding it blood! 😳  Over time Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!

Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world!  Famous songs include "Skid Row (Downtown)," "Grow For Me," "Somewhere That's Green," "Suddenly Seymour," and more!
