WINTER musical 2021
STUDENTS WITH ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE ARE WELCOME IN OUR PROGRAM!
Every registered student is guaranteed a role - auditions are just for us to learn more about you.
We do consider prior experience in auditions, but what's more important to us is skill, enthusiasm, directability and a fierce work ethic!
“There’s No Business Like Snow Business” will feature Holiday songs (solos, duets and group numbers), dance numbers and vignettes/scenes! We have ALWAYS wanted to do a holiday musical in December, such as "A Christmas Story," "Elf," "The Grinch," etc. So… we thought, why not have the best parts from all of them!? This Holiday Revue will feature all your favorite moments from festive winter themed musicals and musical movies!
Here's how it works... each student thinks about different songs they love, or characters that they've always wanted to play. (If they are unsure, we can help them select a few). Here is a link to a Spotify playlist, to get you thinking... :)

You do not have to choose something from our list... and, feel free to think about creatively adapting/updating an established/traditional piece!)
During the first few rehearsals, we help students narrow it down to the number(s) that are best suited for their voices and personality.
Over the course of the rehearsal process, students work closely with a director, choreographer, musical director, and designer, who will help them to showcase themselves confidently, creatively and using professional technique.
It's a valuable experience for our aspiring thespians, building songs for their repertoire and learning to craft a solo performance! Students will also participate in other parts of the show, group numbers etc :) ❄️ ⛄️

❄️ All ages are welcome! Ages 7-18. We will divide the cast by age group.

❄️ Students can perform songs (solos, duets, trios, group numbers).... dance numbers, even monologues or scenes!
❄️ Once you are enrolled, you are in. Next, we figure out what you're going to perform!! You will be given much more info about this when you register!
❄️ Rehearsals are in Sherman Oaks. Schedules will be very flexible. We will have some Sunday group rehearsals together in person, and then solos, duets and smaller group numbers will be at our director's house, at appointment times that YOU will schedule with us at your convenience, once a week. :)
❄️ Tech week and performance dates will be December 5-12th at the gorgeous Road Theatre on Magnolia Blvd, in North Hollywood!
❄️ Tuition is $525.
TO REGISTER:
A non-refundable $200 deposit is due in order to secure your place.
The balance of tuition will be billed to you in a payment plan that you choose!
There is one scholarship available for a qualifying family, through The Jack Bailey Memorial Fund.
