VOCALLY
You will be working one-on-one with our musical director to finesse and develop your vocal technique.

PHYSICALLY
Every child performs in group numbers and is given challenging choreography to help improve their dance technique. All levels and abilites are considered.
Summer workshops also include various movement based classes, including clowning, combat, stunts, etc.

In a supportive creative environment, our students always bloom before our eyes! They are empowered as performers to take creative risks and challenge themselves.
Performing in front of a live audience is a huge confidence-booster for any student.
Your child will grow leaps and bounds in their self-esteem through a transformative summer vacation with ACT-1.

ABOUT SUMMER CAMP WITH ACT-1:
Summer Camp at ACT-1 takes place Monday-Friday from 9am to 3pm. We spend half the day in rehearsals for our musical theatre production, and half the day playing games and doing workshops!
At the end of the summer, we put on a full scale musical theatre production in a professional theatre for friends, family and the public!
STUDENTS WITH ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE ARE WELCOME IN OUR PROGRAM! Every registered student is guaranteed a role - auditions are just for us to learn more about you! We do consider prior experience in auditions, but what's more important to us is enthusiasm, directability and a fierce work ethic!

ORIENTATION
Orientation for all interested or enrolling families:
June 3rd, 3:00pm
Sherman Oaks
We will be answering any questions you have as well as addressing what to prepare for auditions! At least one parent is required to attend (with the enrolling student).
TUITION
$1,200
​
Tuition may be paid in full or in installments.
A $100 deposit is due at the time of registration in order to secure your place in the show, and to receive an audition appointment.
​
The balance of tuition will be billed to you in a payment plan that you select.
REGISTRATION
Enrollment is limited and registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis!
PRIVATE AUDITIONS
June 15, 16, or 17
We will schedule your audition time and send materials as soon as we receive your registration and deposit!

Students will be enrolled in ONE of the tech weeks/performance weekends (depending on how we cast the show). You may request one week or the other, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
