ABOUT SUMMER CAMP WITH ACT-1:
Summer Camp at ACT-1 takes place Monday-Thursday from 9am to 3pm, in Sherman Oaks. In addition to rehearsals for our musical theatre production, we also leave time to play theatre games and participate in workshops with guest teachers! At the end of the summer, we unveil a full-scale Broadway musical theatre production in a professional theatre for friends, family and the public!

DEVELOP YOUR SKILLS

VOCALLY
You will be working one-on-one with our musical director to finesse and develop your vocal technique.

PHYSICALLY
Every child performs in group numbers and is given challenging choreography to help improve their dance technique. All levels and abilites are considered.
Summer workshops also include various movement based classes, including clowning, combat, stunts, etc.

CREATIVELY
In a supportive creative environment, our students always bloom before our eyes! They are empowered as performers to take creative risks and challenge themselves.
Performing in front of a live audience is a huge confidence-booster for any student.
Your child will grow leaps and bounds in their self-esteem through a transformative summer vacation with ACT-1.
It's an unforgettable growth experience and a chance to make lasting friendships and connections with other artists.

We will be answering any questions you have as well as addressing what to prepare for auditions! At least one parent is required to attend (with the enrolling student).
AUDITIONS

We will schedule your 15 minute audition time and send materials as soon as we receive your registration and deposit!
TUITION
$1,300
7 weeks instruction
Tuition may be paid in full or in installments.
A $250 deposit is due at the time of registration in order to secure your place in the show, and to receive an audition appointment.
The balance of tuition will be billed to you in a payment plan that you select.
