Summer DANCE Classes

MT Broadway Style Dance with Bryanna

For the Musical Theatre performer who wants to enhance their technique and be a versatile dancer. In this class we will cover the basics in Jazz, Ballet and a few other styles. The first portion of class will be dedicated to proper warm-ups, stretching and technique for the dancer. This knowledge can be applied and used beyond the classroom. The second half of class will be filled with fun combos to help the student learn and interpret choreography. Each week we learn a combo from a new Broadway musical! Students will have a hand in choosing the next week's musical!

Fridays 1:30-2:30pm

Tap Techniques/Combos with Bryanna

BRYANNA NAVARRO grew up in San Diego and moved to New York City to pursue her dreams as a professional performer. She studied at American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Manhattan for two years, then moved to Los Angeles to complete her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. Her favorite college credits include Evita and Ghost:The Musical. Bryanna has been teaching Tap since she was in high school, where she was the Founder and President of the Aspire Tap Club. This class will be devoted to warming-up the feet and body properly for a tap dancer. We will work on stretching, strengthening and integrating proper technique as well as learning correct vocabulary. Each class will have warmups and combinations to practice at home. Be prepared to move your feet!
